Ecocity will be applying for independent reviews of its sustainability credentials through the use of sustainable rating systems such as LEED.

Target levels being sought are:

LEED Platinum Rating is the leading American Rating System for ecological technologies.

Certification is planned for the following areas:

• Transport
• Social
• Material & Waste
