ECOCITY has a new tenant
The Economymax GmbH developed ECOMAX which is an ECU modification for trucks and buses. Reason for the development was that vehicle manufacturers develop commercial vehicle engines and engine control units (ECU) as standard products. Similar engines are fitted into various types of HGVs and buses. Vehicle manufacturers do not consider inner-city traffic demands (lower average speed, increased stopping and starting, etc.) or intercity demands. The optimisation occurs by adapting the characteristics of the ECU (e.g. torque control, injection quantity, etc.).
This optimisation reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The development as well as the business philosophy fits perfectly into the ECOCITY concept.
